3. What happens if the weather is not suitable for sailing?

In southern Naxos, we usually enjoy very calm seas!

However, your safety is always our top priority.

Managing the Weather:If the forecast predicts southerly winds that affect the trip, we will send you a cancellation message as soon as possible. We understand you need travel time to the port, so we make sure to inform you promptly.

Payment & Cancellation:There's no need for refunds since we don't ask for an advance deposit. You won't lose anything!

We stay in constant communication with you regarding any itinerary changes.

We hope for sunny skies and calm seas for your trip!

4. Can I book the entire boat for my group to celebrate a special occasion, such as birthday or marriage proposal?

Absolutely, yes!

Our traditional boat provides the perfect, intimate setting for truly memorable moments.

We would be honored to host your special occasion.

We highly recommend that you get in touch with us directly to arrange a private tour tailored specifically to your needs.

When you contact us, please share the details of the celebration you have in mind! This allows our team to suggest a few unique surprises or special touches that will make your birthday or marriage proposal truly unforgettable.

We can't wait to help you celebrate onboard!

5. What is the best time of the day to visit the Rina Cave?

At Gialitissa, we always try to schedule our arrival at the cave during less crowded times, so you can enjoy a peaceful swim and the beaches away from the hustle and bustle.

Every time of day has its own unique beauty. The colors inside the cave and along the coast change magically from morning to afternoon.

We suggest you choose your departure time based on your own schedule and needs:

  • What time do you want to have dinner?
  • How far away are you staying from Panermos?
  • Are you an early riser, or do you prefer a relaxed pace?

By choosing a shorter tour with us, you have the opportunity to fit the trip to Rina Cave into a whole day of Naxos exploration.

Our excursion is just one beautiful part of your unforgettable day!

Before We Set Sail

1. Where exactly does the meeting and departure take place?

We meet at the large pier on Panermos beach!

Once you arrive at the beach, head left towards the end of the palm trees.

A small path starts there, running parallel to the sea.

Walk just 30 meters and you'll find the pier and the Gialitissa office.

To make it super easy for you, we will send you an accurate map showing the exact meeting spot once you confirm your reservation.

You can also use Google Maps for precise directions here:

2. Do we need to bring any specific documents with us?

For your boarding, we just need a certification number from you (e.g., your passport, ID, or driver's license number).

We completely understand you might not want to carry official documents with you on the boat trip.

That's perfectly fine!

You simply need to know the number so we can include it on our official crew list.

It's a quick and easy safety requirement!

3. How much earlier should we be at the meeting point?

Please be at the dock at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time otherwise you might miss your reservation.

Please take into account the time it takes to get to Panermos and some extra time to park and get ready.

We actually suggest allowing an extra half an hour for travel; the roads can be busy during peak season, and you might want to stop at some of the beautiful spots along the way

4. Is there parking available near the departure spot?

You have a few easy parking options available in Panermos:

  1. Roadside Parking: Simple parking right on the road.
  2. "Panermos" Parking: This spot is very close to the beach and includes handy facilities like showers, toilets, and some shade.
  3. "Mitatos" Tavern Parking: You can use the parking area belonging to the local tavern.

5. What payment methods do you accept?

Payment is easy! You can pay by card or cash right at the meeting point, on the pier, just before we set sail.

6. Is the trip intresting for teenagers?

We love teenagers and teenagers love Gialitissa.

The tour aboard "Gialitissa" is a hit with teenagers for a few fun reasons:

  • Freedom & Safety: Our small boat is less crowded, so you won't worry about "losing" them, yet they still enjoy the sense of freedom on the open deck.
  • Action-Packed: We prioritize swimming, diving, and snorkeling time over travel time, ensuring moments of action at sea.
  • Awesome Photos: Teenagers always get excited about the underwater photos and videos of their dives taken by our crew!

.Please note that we don't have a bathroom available on the boat.

We kindly recommend using the restroom facilities located in the parking lot right before you board.
